Microsoft Word or Excel documents, along with other popular office suite file formats, are automatically converted for viewing on the Palm device. This means mobile Palm users have access to the same documents previously available only on their desktops. Network administrators don't have to prepare special versions of files in order to have them viewed on Palm devices.
iMobile File Distribution for Palm's document viewing technologies are provided by Documents To GoTM, a product of DataViz, Inc.
This is the main screen for the Palm version of iMobile Connect. Users can control all the synchronization and file distribution activities. In this case, the user has received files in Microsoft Word and Excel formats.
Clicking on one of the files displays a Word document, complete with tables, italics, bold, bullets, and centering. Text searching and bookmarks are also supported.
