- Support for Microsoft SQL ServerTM 2000 Windows® CE Edition (SQL Server CE) databases allows for more data to be sent to the Windows Powered device, giving users all the information they need to service customers. For the first time, developers can now connect the data from SQL Server, Oracle or DB2 databases to SQL Server CE using iMobile Suite 4.2.

- Server-side change capture flags changes at the server for immediate delivery to mobile devices, providing a faster, more real-time experience for users. This capability is designed to minimize sync times allowing for more concurrent users resulting in a highly scalable, reliable solution.
iMobile Suite 4.2 also consists of performance improvements including wireless protocol optimizations and a set of administrative improvements that complement the product's easy install, deployment and manageability features.
