Intermec and Synchrologic Partner to Deliver Enterprise Data to Mobile Devices
EVERETT, Wash. and ATLANTA, Ga., Feb. 18, 2002 - Intermec Technologies Corp. has named Synchrologic Inc. to its Premier Solutions Partner program. Synchrologic's iMobile Suite will work with Intermec's mobile computers to provide automated software updates, mobile device management and mobile enterprise applications for customers in industries such as retail, utilities, transportation and logistics, where out-of-office connectivity is crucial.
Designed to enhance productivity of front-line workers and reduce the time and cost associated with managing mobile devices, iMobile Suite provides secure mobile and remote access to enterprise data. This gives companies the ability to link their mobile workers using Intermec devices to vital corporate data, streamlining the flow of information both to and from the field.
The iMobile Systems Management complements Intermec device deployments by allowing companies to configure, deploy and update application programs, monitor device performance and provide IT with visibility to the hardware and software inventory of each device.
