Connect-Care Becomes Mobile Application With Synchrologic's Synchronization Server

ATLANTA -- February 19, 1999 -- Synchrologic, Inc., the leading developer of client-to-server data synchronization technology, and ProAmerica, a leading provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, announced today that Synchrologic's data synchronization server will be used in ProAmerica's flagship application, Connect-Care™.

Connect-Care provides organizations with instant access to sales, marketing, quality, customer support and customer satisfaction information. The solution allows companies to derive strategic intelligence from everyday interactions and use that intelligence to analyze, streamline and improve business processes.

Using Synchrologic's mobile data synchronization, mobile users of Connect-Care connect only briefly to download data to their laptop PCs, and then access and modify it offline. Users can reconnect at a later time to send back the modified data, as well as receive updates from the central database.

Connect-Care

Connect-Care allows companies to provide quality support and analysis throughout the entire customer life cycle, from pre-sales events and individual marketing activities such as direct mail campaigns. Reducing the time and effort required to build client/server applications that are intermittently connected to a central database server, SyncKit transmits field-level updates only, reducing connection times and simplifying back-end data management. In addition to supporting Microsoft Access, Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere, and Oracle Lite, it synchronizes bidirectionally with enterprise databases like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 and Informix. SyncKit is scalable to thousands of remote installations and comes complete with an administrative tool set for comprehensive support and maintenance.
