Domino's Pizza Chooses Synchrologic to Improve Quality, Delivery Time of Data

Synchrologic's iMobile Suite Helps Domino's Stores, Headquarters Communicate Efficiently

ATLANTA, April 17, 2001 -- In an effort to improve the tracking of real-time customer data from 7,000 stores that deliver more than 360 million pizzas a year, Domino's pizza will deploy Synchrologic's iMobile Suite. In an initial pilot project, iMobile Suite is expected to help Domino's better manage daily sales data and customer information from individual stores. With iMobile Suite, Domino's will more efficiently manage the complex task of collecting data, synchronizing it with central databases and coordinating financial analysis from a single point of administration.

"In a franchise environment, one of the biggest challenges is intelligently managing massive amounts of customer data from stores across the nation. Synchrologic can help us capture this data and make the most of it," said Tim Monteith, chief information officer at Domino's. "Over the next year, we're looking to Synchrologic for significant cost-savings as well as improved means to distribute vital information to our stores."

In the past, transfer of incomplete and unreliable bundles of sales and customer data has given Domino's an imperfect picture of individual store activity, sales and inventory. To clean up these inaccuracies, Domino's will pilot, across 400 stores, two components of Synchrologic's iMobile Suite, iMobile Data Synchronization and iMobile File Distribution. Each component will play an integral part in guaranteeing that both headquarters and the stores have the most up-to-date and relevant information. For instance, every day sales information, such as number of pizzas sold, needs to move to headquarters, and marketing information, such as menu and pricing updates, needs to move to the stores.

"We help companies access and share vital information that gives them a competitive edge," said John Dancu, president and chief operating officer at Synchrologic. "iMobile Suite will allow Domino's to use daily sales information to improve customer service and increase sales. Streamlining the effort and cost of capturing and analyzing this information will allow Domino's to better service its franchise businesses."
