Handspring and Synchrologic Announce Strategic Enterprise Alliance

Partnership provides business professionals and IT with complete mobile enterprise computing solution for Handspring's Treo communicators and Visor handhelds

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., and ATLANTA, Ga., October 30, 2001 - Handspring (Nasdaq: HAND) and Synchrologic today announced an agreement to deliver enterprise-class mobile solutions based on Synchrologic's iMobile Suite and Handspring's Treo communicators and Visor handhelds. The partnership will support the trend towards using mobile devices in the enterprise to access groupware, databases, sales force automation (SFA) information and customer relationship management (CRM) data. The companies will work together in an effort to bring mobile and wireless hardware and software solutions to corporate customers.

Synchrologic's iMobile Suite is a comprehensive enterprise mobile and wireless infrastructure software solution that securely mobilizes enterprise applications while providing the tools necessary to remotely manage occasionally connected devices. iMobile Suite is designed to lower total cost of ownership of mobile devices while increasing the productivity and capabilities of mobile workers.
