SYNCHROLOGIC UNITES MOBILE WORKFORCE AND ENTERPRISE DATA THROUGH BUSINESS ALLIANCE WITH PALM COMPUTING
Synchrologic's iMobile Suite synchronizes users of Palm Computing platform products at Cisco Systems with their sales force application data
ALPHARETTA, Ga. (October 19, 1999) - Synchrologic, Inc., a leading developer of Internet-based mobile computing software for the enterprise, today announced that it has been named a Business Alliance member by Palm Computing, a 3Com company (Nasdaq: COMS). The inclusion of Synchrologic in this program highlights the value of Synchrologic's iMobile SuiteTM product in providing critical mobile infrastructure software for enterprise deployment of devices based on the Palm OS® software. Synchrologic also announced that its iMobile Suite data synchronization had enabled the successful connection and deployment of enterprise sales force automation data to users of Palm Computing® platform products at Cisco Systems.
Synchrologic's recently announced iMobile Suite is a premier single-source solution to manage file distribution, data synchronization, and software distribution for the enterprise's mobile workforce, including laptop and handheld users.

Cisco Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, is rolling out iMobile Data Synchronization for the Palm Computing platform to its sales force to synchronize sales customer contacts to a custom-built contact management application on Palm Computing platform products. "After an exhaustive evaluation of all the leading vendors of Palm synchronization, we chose Synchrologic," said George Passidakis, manager, information technology, at Cisco Systems. "Having an application-independent, database-independent, scalable solution was important to us in getting our customer data to our Palm product users. iMobile Data Synchronization has met the challenge, and Synchrologic has been a responsive vendor during our integration project."
Synchrologic teamed with The Windward Group to provide a complete, customized solution for Cisco. For Cisco's application rollout to Palm organizer users, Windward provided the required modifications to interface the Palm Computing® platform software with Cisco's enterprise sales force application data formats and usage methods.
