(Nasdaq: XNET), the leading vendor of remote systems management software. This joint product development and marketing relationship combines the strength of each company in providing solutions for off-line use by remote workers.
XcelleNet's RemoteWare lets systems administrators effectively manage remote PCs. Database-reliant applications enabled with Synchrologic components can be used off-line by remote workers who connect only occasionally to update and share data. When used together, RemoteWare provides advanced systems management, as well as an enterprise transport that extends to remote workers, while Synchrologic technology ensures application data is consistent between client and server.

As part of the strategic relationship and for a limited time, current users of XcelleNet's RemoteWare Forms application development tool will be able to exchange their licenses for Synchrologic's FormsKit™, a specially developed version of Synchrologic's SyncKit™ technology. Available from Synchrologic, FormsKit will provide RemoteWare for OS/2 Forms customers migrating to the RemoteWare for Windows NT with a robust development environment for database reliant applications. For other application-development needs, RemoteWare customers can use standard Synchrologic components to build new or enable existing database-reliant applications for mobile/remote use.
Synchrologic's 'plug-in' components offer the industry's best solution for the synchronization of intermittently-connected client and server databases.
